Survios currently has an opening for a talented SVP of Marketing to lead our amazing Marketing team.
As the Senior Vice President, Marketing, you’ll carry the torch for marketing excellence across Survios’ portfolio of entertainment products. You will design and oversee the publishing strategy and go-to-market efforts for all current and upcoming products. Working closely with the executive producers, publishing leads, product teams, and senior leadership of the company, you will be our leader driving strategy across our portfolio, ensuring that we come to market with the best marketing, product, and planning strategies globally. You will lead the existing global publishing and marketing team while scaling the organization to introduce new capabilities and teams to support our multi-product efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Build, motivate and lead a high-performance team of managers and professionals; provide active mentoring as a cornerstone to career development.
- Improve department operating structure, implementing systems and processes that create a close partnership with product owners.
- Create innovative marketing campaigns that engage & acquire players, grow the player base and drive ongoing campaigns throughout the Live Service.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis, market, and user research across the gaming/entertainment landscape to stay ahead of new technologies, market trends, and latest needs of our fans.
- Partner with studio teams and product management to define positioning, consumer target, and product features to drive brand growth, content development, and go-to-market strategies.
- Track and benchmark campaign metrics and complex data structures to identify key learnings and build easy-to-understand executive and stakeholder reports.
- Own the end-to-end process for managing marketing tasks including those related to CRM, performance, brand campaigns, and events.
- Manage marketing budget and resource allocation from annual planning to ongoing variable spend.
- Control outsourcing and agency budget, and maximize agency project efficiencies and productivity.
- Develop and articulate a unified Survios brand across the platform and manage the brand across our player and developer product offerings, marketing campaigns, and press coverage. Build the brand into a globally-recognized, household name.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of demonstrated career progression in roles of increasing responsibility, with fluency in all aspects of marketing and an emphasis on digital (e.g., A/B testing, CRM, 1:1, performance marketing), product, brand development, customer acquisition, and driving engagement through content.
- Proven success crafting a clear strategic vision that was communicated clearly and adopted through all levels of an org.
- Demonstrated effective leadership including ability to build and foster successful, multidisciplinary teams that scale and evolve with evolving company needs.
- Experience building brands and crafting compelling stories to multiple global audiences through breakthrough visual or experiential design and creative with digital know-how.
- Have held a senior position in marketing or publishing (e.g., full P&L ownership or ownership over the full publishing budget).
- Have familiarity with and passion for the gaming industry, and a variety of gaming genres and platforms.
- Ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to stakeholders, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with others.
Pluses:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in marketing, advertising, communications, or business; MBA or BSc in Business Administration.
- Experience managing third party IPs and AAA franchise properties and stakeholders.
