SMITE - Environment Art Outsourcing Manager

Hi-Rez Studios is looking to hire an experienced Environment Outsourcing Art Manager to work for our studio on the established game SMITE.

Tasks you will be responsible for:
- As a Outsourcing Art Manager for the SMITE Environment team, you will facilitate clear communication with our Outsource vendors and Environment team lead.
- Provide well articulated feedback and approvals for all incoming art assets maintaining and improving the art quality.
- Gather proper reference and provide detailed paintovers when needed to maintain the art fidelity.
- Implement assets directly, assist vendors implement assets into the game engine and also make any needed fixes to assets.
- Keeping track of all outsource schedules, setting milestones, and adhering to deadlines.
Attributes we are in search of:
- Exceptional eye for stylized art
- Advanced knowledge of a modeling package, Unreal engine and additional tools used in the game art creation pipeline.
- A deep understanding of engine performance constraints and the ability to set correct limitations for all assets.
- Experience working with and managing teams
- 5+ years of experience with shipped titles as an environment artist.

- Knowledge of Jira and Shotgun
- 3+ years of experience in a manager role
- Being organized, self driven, can problem solve through hurdles, and a great team player.
