Role overview:

In IT, we aim to achieve this by providing information and technology platforms that enable seamless working, communication and collaboration with colleagues and partners anywhere in the world.
The SIE IT - SFO group implements and enhances business-facing products and services that support PlayStation’s Sales, Finance and Operations (SFO) departments. SAP is the strategic solution in this space, and this platform currently comprises SAP ERP, BW, IBP and BPC. We are looking for an experienced SAP BI, IBP & BPC Analyst to ensure that the platform continues to meet the business’s planning and reporting needs.
What you’ll be doing:
Helping to design, implement and support planning and reporting platforms, and their integrations, across the SIE IT – SFO estate by:
- Working closely with internal and third party technical teams to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve production (including performance) issues across the SAP BI platform and planning tools (IBP & BPC) :
- Triaging user tickets and assigning calls to the correct resolver group;
- Identifying technical interface issues and reviewing with business and technical teams;
- Managing and co-ordinating the testing and release of fixes;
- Working closely with internal and third-party technical teams to analyse and assess the impact of change requests on the SAP BI platform and the SAP planning tools (IBP & BPC):
- Managing, prioritising and co-ordinating the delivery of changes, ensuring that quality solutions are implemented;
- Contributing to interface design, and co-ordinating and assisting with integration testing as required;
- Creating and maintaining integration support documentation and knowledge articles;
- Designing, creating and maintaining SAP BW and BO reports;
- Designing, creating, maintaining and supporting inbound and outbound IBP and BPC interfaces;
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrable experience providing effective technical support to business users within a complex and interconnected system landscape;
- Working successfully across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change: from requirements definition through solution design, build, testing to transition to live operation;
- Working successfully as a technical analyst on a wide range of ERP and Business Intelligence projects;
- Broad and sound understanding of one or more of the following areas is desirable:
- Finance processes and an appreciation of finance terminology;
- Exposure to systems that handle high volume financial transactional processing;
- Financial reporting and reconciliation;
- Supply chain and logistics in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment;
- Product data management including Bill of Materials;
- Data interfaces and system integration;
- Working effectively with off shore / near shore service providers
- Working with ITIL, Prince2 & Agile methodologies;
- Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences within a matrix organisation;
- Excellent at influencing and negotiation, comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and willing to challenge them based on sound reasoning;
- Excellent written, verbal, social and decision-making skills,
- Self-motivated, highly organised, working well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Working with the following tools (or similar):
- Issue Tracking (e.g. JIRA, Service Now)
- Collaboration (e.g. Confluence, Trello)
- Communication (e.g. Slack, Webex, Skype for Business)
- Working within controlled/compliance-based environments (particularly Sarbanes Oxley) would be beneficial;
Your technical development and support competencies will include the following:
- BW version 7.5
- BW APDs, Open Hubs, infoproviders, process chains, data loading, performance tuning, Business Contents/Logistic cockpits
- BEx Query Designer and Analyzer Workbooks
- Business Objects Webi reports, including designing BO Universe
- BPC Net Weaver v11
- IBP S&OP
- ABAP (beneficial)
