Hi-Rez Studios is looking to hire an experienced Environment Artist to work at our studio in Alpharetta, Georgia, on our new project Rogue Company.

What our Environment Artists do:
- Develop high quality 3D assets within the defined visual style.
- Craft environment and level related meshes, collision, materials, and textures according to best practices within an Unreal development pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Art Director, Concept Artists, Level Designers, and other Environmental Artists to problem solve and create visually stunning maps that accentuate game play.
- Experience with 3DS Max or Maya.
- Experience with Zbrush.
- Additional experience or understanding of stylized texture creation.
- Work is subject to regular supervisory review at regular intervals.
- Operate within the context of generally defined procedures.
- Implement defined tasks of team /projects.
- Support attainment of some short- and mid-term objectives of assigned team/projects.
We are looking for someone with:
- 3 - 5 years experience with environment art in a production environment.
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Maya and or 3DS Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Substance Painter.
- Strong knowledge in Unreal Engine.
- Realistic texture creation experience.
- Strong knowledge of PBR material use and creation.
- AAA game development experience.
- Thrives upon change.
- Comfortable working quickly within an iterative development process.
- Comfortable receiving constructive criticism and making artistic adjustments.
- Able to work effectively within game design and tech constraints.
- Passion for games.
- Strong work ethic.
