Job Description
The Rocksmith+ editorial team is looking for a personable and charismatic host for video content for in App and on Social Media. We are looking for a music enthusiast that can play the guitar and has a passion for talking about all aspects of music. You’ll participate in the generation and development of various ideas for video content. Our ideal candidate should be able to speak to the music novice, the enthusiast, and everyone in between. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide approachable and entertaining on-screen personality
- Convey your passion for all aspects of music
- Host various style of video content (Lessons, tutorials, demos, interviews...)
- Bring a personal style and personality through the delivery of scripted material
- Contribute to the generation and development of video content
- Support the Video Director in the development of their creative vision
- Provide critical feedback to scriptwriter, video editors to continuously improve the quality of the video you’ll host
- Contribute to the constant improvement of the video creation process
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Ability to memorize up to 30 seconds of monologue
- Comfort with speaking about technical and nuanced elements of music
- Ability to play guitar at an advance level
- Ability to improvise and speak about personal knowledge and skills as a musician
- Positive and professional attitude on set with a willingness to take directions
- Able to shoot, in person, in San Francisco
- Knowledge of other instruments is a plus
- Talent for Scriptwriting is a plus
