Finance and Accounting at Epic
What we do
Our Finance and Accounting teams build the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, international subsidiaries, as well as with external partners to ensure a world-class finance organization. Our team contains experts from fields like tax, treasury, purchasing, FP&A, and more.
What you’ll do
As our Revenue Analyst/Accountant, you will analyze and process complex revenue data and
have the primary responsibility to ensure the complete and accurate recording of revenue across
each of our revenue streams. You will cover the full revenue lifecycle from KYC, customer DD, invoicing, cash collection, accounts receivable management, VAT/GST calculation and return preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for providing insights into operational matters relating to our Revenue cycle, direction on technical accounting issues that may arise during the ordinary course of business. As the main point of contact daily interactions with our payment processing partners, you will be responsible for building these relationships and working with them and internal stakeholders to improve existing revenue recognition processes. You will collaborate with various teams including Group Tax, IT, Legal, FP&A, and other subsidiary accountants, to identify and shape our processes and policies to ensure that we appropriately account for revenue.

status quo and make improvements to support the Company’s growth ambitions. You are hands-on, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years’ US GAAP software revenue recognition experience and familiarity with US GAAP revenue recognition accounting guidance such as ASC 605 and ASC 606 (or IFRS 15).
- Strong communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to summarize key accounting and operational issues to management.
- Knowledge of international digital sales taxes.
- Complex analytic problem solving and project management skills.
- Independent and self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (complex formula, VBA, macros and pivot tables).
- Experience with Microsoft Access or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Chartered Accountancy qualification or equivalent (preferred but not required).
