We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic individual with an in-depth understanding of digital and traditional marketing. You’ll be developing an overall retail marketing strategy for Sandbox VR to support current stores and new store growth. You have experience leading marketing campaigns across brick and mortar and online/social media channels to drive strong brand awareness and increase conversions. You’re a strong communicator, team player, and possess a strong aptitude to continually learn marketing strategies, best practices, and new trends in the VR and content space.
What you’ll be doing:
- Launch new store marketing campaigns to efficiently build up brand awareness and pre-sales by driving local PR, managing digital campaigns, and messaging across social media channels
- Create and maintain a consolidated retail marketing calendar that tracks the development and execution of all retail marketing projects. Obtains feedback and regular contact with partners that might affect the scheduling of this calendar
- Collaborate with external partners and evaluate paid growth and lifecycle campaign effectiveness; analyze and develop strategies to improve performance over time
- Develop cohesive brand messaging across social media channels and digital campaigns
- Establish the vision and goals for web, collateral, social media, and video content; Collaborate with internal team to develop creative assets for marketing campaigns
- Assist in developing budgets that align with cross-departmental strategy
- Develop strategies that support the Marketing Departments goal to maximize guest loyalty, ROI, conversions, and brand awareness
- Assist in oversight of collateral development for store operations
- Provide written and oral updates to the executives and committees
- Travel to US stores locations required
Who we are looking for:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Able to work under pressure, meet tight timelines and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing is preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in the retail and/or consumer goods fields
- Experience with digital platforms and applications
- Strong written language skill
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action
- Ability to drive projects from concept through implementation, analyze results, and provide a strong rationale for recommendations
- Strong track record leading cross-functional teams
