Role Overview:

As part of the “Vendor and Resource Services” team, the nature of the work typically relates to supporting our 2 core service lines. ‘Vendor Management’ is concerned with the external partnerships that compliment and expand upon internal PlayStation Studios QA capabilities. ‘Resource Support’ relates to administration and data analysis of internal headcount that support the provision of PlayStation Studios QA services.

The Resource coordinator role is primarily concerned with ‘Vendor Management’ outsourcing activities, while also providing internal resource recruitment and allocation support for ‘Resource Support’ activities as required. There is also some involvement and responsibility for assisting local team coordination activities and department projects that help the Vendor and Resource Services team maintain the excellent level of service associated with the PlayStation organization.

Required Skills:

The successful candidate will ideally hold strong communication skills, being able to provide frequent status updates on task progress. They will be able to liaise with counterparts in other regions and communicate effectively across the business hierarchy. High levels of autonomy and initiative are also desirable due to being part of a small local team, along with the ability to prioritize activities in line with business needs. The ability to negotiate effectively will be an advantage, resolving issues and settling differences with a minimum of noise. The ability to be direct as well as diplomatic is also desirable. Occasional flexibility regarding working hours may be accommodated/requested along with the possibility of occasional overtime. BCS Specialist Certificate in Supplier Management or related proficiency desired. Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related to resource coordination and recruitment.
