Your Mission
You will join our Executive Recruitment team to help grow our leadership population and optimise our executive recruitment practices, on a 6 month fixed term employment basis.
Executive Recruitment at Improbable sits within our global Talent Acquisition Team. This new team was established in 2020 to revolutionise our approach to hiring executive level talent globally and we now need to increase the capacity in this team to deliver on ever-growing demand across the business.
Working as a Researcher within the Executive Recruitment team is a unique opportunity to work with executive level stakeholders across all of our business lines, hiring leadership talent into all functional areas. You will be tasked with identifying and attracting world-class executive level talent from across the globe, predominantly at Director, VP and CxO level. Beyond working on live requirements, this research work is fundamental to helping our Executive Recruitment function to become proactive in our approach by building a network of top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Executive Recruiter, help deliver on varied executive level searches, sourcing from a global talent pool
- Compose and execute creative sourcing strategies to develop superior talent pipelines with a meaningful emphasis on diversity
- Conduct thorough and methodical market research to create ‘longlists’ of talent against live requirements and provide market intelligence to stakeholders
- Drive proactive sourcing activity and take ownership of establishing pipelines of top talent across the business
- Evangelise Improbable culture and value proposition, representing this passionately to develop alignment towards our mission
- Maintain exceptional standards and data integrity across tools and systems
- Breakdown, participate in and champion major projects and initiatives to improve talent acquisition at Improbable
- Identify further opportunities for improvement to our executive search processes and infrastructure
We would like to hear from you if you identify with the following:
- Good grounding in research and sourcing work for executive level recruitment within a search firm and/or a technology organisation
- Deep appreciation for and understanding of the search process combined with operational rigour
- Comfortable working across a range of roles and functions at a senior level
- Exceptional written and verbal English - compelling, influential, thoughtful, articulate
- True understanding and enjoyment of the research process - methodical approach to identifying top talent, market trends and competitor analysis
- Comfortable operating under ambiguity and uncertainty at time
- Organised, methodical, timely, structured, efficient and preciseInterest and passion for optimising the search process, supporting infrastructure and documentation - always look for ways to improve our service to the business
- Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, motivated and passionate
- Highly resilient, relentless and cheerful in the face of adversity
