Who We're Looking For
EA is looking for a Reporting Solutions Manager to help lead the design and scale of key data and reporting systems across paid, owned, and earned media. In this role you will work to continuously expand, deepen, and improve reporting and analytics capabilities. Your work will directly enable media teams, analysts, and data scientists to do their best work. Responsibilities
Manage successful reporting projects in a highly dynamic and enterprise environment:
- Provide leadership by driving consensus across stakeholders on business requirements of key initiatives across paid and organic channels
- Clearly document plans for executing on reporting requirements that fulfill the overall business objective
- Create project status that clearly articulates the next steps / milestones for report development activities and proactively communicate to key stakeholders across the marketing organization
Ensure constant optimization of scalable reporting solutions:
- Ensure that data across all marketing verticals speaks the same language and can be leveraged for high level omni-channel marketing insights
- Plan, develop and perform periodic reviews that independently evaluates the adequacy, comprehensiveness and effectiveness of reporting solutions
- Identify deficiencies and recommend solutions to complex data aggregation challenges surrounding effectiveness of our marketing reach and spend initiatives
- Anticipate changes in the internal and external environment and constantly optimize processes to support these changes
- Skilled at interpreting business needs and requirements and takes initiative on identifying critical needs and possible solutions even before they’re formally requested
Proficiency with multiple advanced marketing and reporting tools and data sets and the ability to:
- Lead or assist in addressing reporting, data or platform issues by interfacing with stakeholders, investigating root causes and implementing scalable solutions
- Write and run SQL queries against internal and external databases to generate ad-hoc reports
- Own data quality within reporting systems and establish processes that deliver on accuracy and recency requirements
- Own and manage data ingestion processes from internal and external platforms (e.g. EA channels, Facebook etc.)
- Develop training materials and run routine educational sessions with media and organic channel experts so they can be effectively use reporting solutions
Qualifications and requirements:
- Advanced competency in large scale reporting tools like Datorama, Tableau, Domo and spreadsheet tools like Excel, Google Sheets
- Demonstrated ability to implement large-scale reporting solutions in enterprises with evidence of adoption and return on investment
- Direct working experience with marketing functions like paid media, social, earned, community management and CRM
- Knowledge of IT solutions with a foundational awareness of security, configuration, infrastructure concepts, business intelligence, visualization, and data structures
- 3 years of experience with relational databases, different flavors of SQL and query optimization
- Experience with marketing platforms and tools (like Facebook, Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Twitter)
- Strong collaboration skills that span across multiple organizational geographies and levels
- Adept multitasker who can meet fast-approaching deadlines despite competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills spanning business and technical audiences
- Experience with overseeing projects/workflow across a global institution
- Able to establish strong relationships with business and project stakeholders to ensure that business goals are met
- Ability to work independently, self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment
