This role is based in our Barcelona office (Spain) ; we are only considering applicants already authorized to work in Spain.
What you will do as a Data Visualization Analyst/Engineer on our Publishing Platform
Efficiently aggregate data on top of our portfolio data model to support reporting needs
Design and build beautiful visualizations to support our extensive portfolio of titles
Work closely with stakeholders across the board to improve our data culture and data accessibility
Be a steward of data quality, ensuring that metrics and KPIs are consistently reported across the catalog of dashboards and data products
Collaborate with the ETL team to deliver faster and more actionable KPIs
What you will need to be successful and enjoy this role!
Will to learn and work with a team of highly-motivated individuals
Experience designing dashboards in Tableau (Looker a plus)
Experience with data warehouse modeling techniques such as Kimball dimensional modeling (star schema)
Proven track record successfully building and evolving robust data warehousing systems
Experience with ETL and ability to construct, troubleshoot, and profile complex queries (Airflow is a plus)
Exposure to Hadoop-based ETL and big data technologies: Spark, S3, Hive, Impala, HDFS, etc. is a plus
Competency working in a Linux OS environment and utilizing common command-line tools (github/cvs experience is a plus)
Experience with accurate and performant SQL
Positive attitude
Table tennis skills (Mario Kart is a plus)
