We are looking for a Release engineer to work with us on Best Fiends studio in the Warsaw office!
Responsibilities
- Work close with the Business and RnD to ensure timely and successful releases
- Act as major focal point for platform stores management for the game (e.g. Appstore, play store etc.)
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and other requirements the game must align to (e.g. GDPR, CCPA etc.)
- Facilitate collaboration and communication across teams in terms of release activities
- Document, execute, and improve content readiness, builds release, and content publishing to the production environment.
- Drive pre-release builds schedules and access management.
- Facilitate successful releases by proactively monitoring status throughout release flow and drive identification of potential release impact.
- Suggest and drive end-to-end release process and automation improvements.
- Provide regular release status, risks, and mitigations.
- Work with leads to update and maintain release information and schedules.
Requirements
- Experience with release management.
- Process oriented approach – organized and structured
- Understanding of the CI/CD process.
- Knowledge of platform technology & release requirements for Google, Apple and Amazon marketplaces as well as backend services
- Strong Knowledge of continuous deployment tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, Git, SVN)
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery approaches for multiplatform applications.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You can talk to creatives, technical people, and non-technical people alike. When conflicts occur, you bring people together, you listen, you mitigate, and you resolve.
- Technical background needed to quickly grasp highly technical concepts as explained by Developers, support teams, and QA and to extract core messages for summary and explanation to others.
- English – Intermediate
Would be a plus:
- Practical experience in project management
- Experience in automation \ Python JS \ script languages
