Release Quality Management Intern

The opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic new member to join our team of Release Quality Managers. You will be part of the team responsible for managing and coordinating quality testing efforts of our products to over a million developers and billions of end-users.
We work with R&D with a global mission of improving the way we deliver outstanding quality to our users and your contribution will be key to the team's success in achieving that mission. Your impact will be felt across the org as a central point of contact for the quality of a release!
Based in our office in Brighton, you'll collaborate with multiple teams across our European, North American and worldwide offices.
This is an 11 month paid internship starting in July 2022.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with release managers, team testers and developers to schedule and plan testing of weekly Unity patch releases
- Performing both real world scenario testing and scripted testing and investigating and reporting issues
- Understand and help implement the team’s testing strategy
- Relaying feedback to the development team in relation to their code changes
- Reporting the quality status of the product to the release stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- You must be currently studying at a bachelor level and looking for a placement year starting summer 2022, ideally within a relevant field such as games development
- Someone that is interested in game engines and has an appetite for other various technologies, both new and existing
- Well organized - loves making plans and seeing them through
- Is passionate about quality
- Great communications skills and an empathetic team member - they can adapt their way of communication for the needs of various global teams
You might also have
- Previous experience in working with computer games, game engines or software for creative applications (in personal projects or within University assignments)
- An open mind and a willingness to question the status-quo
