ABOUT MEGAZEBRA
At MegaZebra we have successfully crafted category-leading games for more than 10 years. We develop our own original titles, and develop games based on “Hollywood”-IP such as Desperate Housewives - The Game. By combining technology, game-design, art, analytics, and bringing together passionate people from around the globe we have repeatedly been able to produce hit games. We are based in Munich/Germany and Montréal/Canada.
We develop all our games in small and vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. For our studio in the heart of Montréal’s gaming scene, we are now looking for an experienced Release Manager
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the entire release cycle for our games
- Plan milestones and releases of our games and their features
- Manage sprints and sprint priorities (agile development process)
- Ensure high-quality releases in cooperation with the game teams, marketing, and QA
- Assess release results by working closely with the game analytics- and marketing teams
- Manage the QA-team
- Manage the live ops team
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years working as a Project Manager or Release Manager in a video-games company or another software development company (e.g. mobile applications, web applications)
- Having a solid understanding of mobile app development (iOS, Android). Understanding of mobile games is a plus. Understanding of Facebook games is a second plus
- Understanding of agile product development processes
- Solid understanding of free-to-play game-mechanics
- Strong analytical capability
- Knowing how to make sense of app KPIs. Being able to have educated conversations with our game-analytics team
- Strong passion to succeed
- Good skills and knowledge in terms of leadership, communication, facilitation, situational awareness, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency
- Proficiency in: Google Docs, Jira/RedMine/Trello or similar project management software
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent English skills both verbal and written
