Release Manager

Playground Games is looking to grow its Forza Horizon team with the addition of a highly proficient Release Manager.

Owning an integral part of the development cycle, you'll work with the team to execute the process by which our titles and content updates are released across a selection of platforms.

In addition to ensuring that established processes are tightly adhered to, you will use your expertise to document and continuously improve release management practice. This will involve working with internal and external teams to capture evolving requirements and compliance needs, driving appropriate behaviours in the development studio, managing access to builds appropriately, and broadcasting status.

Keeping all stakeholders regularly informed of release information, schedules, and emerging risks that could impact releases will form part of this fast-paced, high-visibility role.

Skills summary:

• Experience shipping multi-platform titles in release management roles.
• A highly organised and structured approach to the execution of complex processes.
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, to a very high standard.
• Experience with project management and ticket-tracking packages.
• A grasp of technical fundamentals such as version control systems and delivery mechanisms.

An understanding of Microsoft release management practices would be highly beneficial for this role.
