Position Summary:
Crystal Dynamics is seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our growing LiveOps team! The Release Manager will work closely with the Lead LiveOps Producer and be at the forefront of the live operations pipeline, coordinating with Development and Operations teams to deliver releases for our fans across the world. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining the release process, creating and communicating a release cadence, and facilitating communication across the organization to ensure the highest quality deliveries.
Essential Duties:
- Implement launch readiness standards around roadmaps, quality, and tools to establish a predictable process.
- Plan releases and track critical changes across the project.
- Communicate release plans, requirements, and risks for discussion with key stakeholders.
- Connect development and operations teams to quickly drive decisions.
- Facilitate submission process with the LiveOps team and world-wide publishing partners.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire organization.
Competencies, Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency with project management and version control software tools such as JIRA and Perforce.
- Ability to effectively present and share information across a wide array of disciplines, technical expertise and senior members of the organization.
- Experience with game development lifecycle and workflows.
Essential Requirements:
- 4+ years in a Release Manager or related role in software development.
- Have shipped at least one game within a development studio.
Pluses:
- Experience with console developer portals, SDKs and tools.
- Familiarity with TRC and XR guidelines.
