Release Manager (World of Tanks Blitz)

Wargaming is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Release Manager to join the World of Tanks Blitz team. We are professionals who are seriously passionate about games and their creation. We are always happy to share our experience and love to learn from experienced colleagues.

What will you do?

• Lead release activities in coordination with products, product teams, DevOps, content managers and other departments;
• Establish artifacts, requirements, limitations, schedule, plan and risks of releases;
• Define technical and business release dependencies;
• Run advisory boards with release stakeholders and notify all involved parties on release plans;
• Assemble release teams and supervise their preparation for the release;
• Approve final readiness to release and be accountable for the release progress. Manage crises in problematic releases;
• Gather postmortem reports and conduct release retrospectives. Identify changes that will improve future releases and drive their introduction;
• Design and coordinate projects to improve release and operations processes in the company.

What are we looking for?

• 1+ year of experience working in a development team, preferably as a project manager, release manager or QA;
• Understanding of the software development process, product life cycle and principles of management;
• Upper Intermediate level of English and Russian;
• Strong, disciplined, and friendly personality.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Knowledge of project management techniques and tricks;
• Versed in process management and process modernization;
• Knowledge of ITIL processes;
• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence.
