Release Manager - Project Coordinator

Wargaming is looking for a Release Manager - Project Coordinator to join the Delivery Services team. The team works closely with the Development and Operations departments while developing new processes to ensure the release of quality products.
In this role, you’ll work in Wargaming’s heart of development, managing a large flow of releases for various applications, and identify necessary changes and promote them for the better. As your release experience grows, you’ll also develop a broad understanding of all parts of IT production and its interactions.
What will you do?
- Conduct release activities in coordination with product, project, content and operations teams
- Identify the artifacts, requirements, restrictions and risks of releases and approve the release plan and schedule
- Determine technical and business release dependencies
- Coordinate releases with key participants and notify stakeholders about release plans
- Assemble release teams and manage their preparation for release
- Approve the final readiness for release and be responsible for the release’s progress
- Solve crisis situations with problematic releases
- Put together post-mortems and retrospectives
- Identify and promote changes that will improve further releases
What are we looking for?
- 1 or more years’ experience in an IT company in a position of Release Manager/Project Manager/QA Engineer/Business Analyst
- Experience working in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with a large number of communications
- General technical literacy and understanding of development processes
- Intermediate or higher level of English
What will help you stand out?
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of project management tricks and techniques
- Experience in managing or creating processes
- Knowledge of ITIL
