Release Management Intern

We are looking for a dynamic new intern to join our team of Release Managers. You will be part of the team responsible for coordinating releases of our products to over a million developers and billions of end-users. We work with Unity's core engineering teams with a global mission of improving the way we deliver outstanding quality to our users and your contribution will be key to the team's success in achieving that mission. Your impact will be felt across the org as a member of the group that is the central point of contact for release planning and execution for a growing and hugely exciting product portfolio!
You will collaborate with multiple local teams as well as teams across our European and worldwide offices.
What you’ll be doing
- Helping the team to deliver weekly releases to internal QA, to alpha/beta testing groups and to live customers
- Assisting internal tools teams to help us continually improve how we collate and report key data pertaining to our core functions
- Monitoring release metrics to maintain a comprehensive picture of release health and to report to key partners
- Coordinating internal communications about the releases and associated processes to audiences with varying technical fluency, from executives to developers
What we’re looking for
- You must be currently studying at a bachelor level and looking for a placement year starting in 2022
- Genuine curiosity about software development, ideally with some proficiency in C++, C# or web technologies
- Excellent people skills and a love of teamwork
- A thirst for a challenge and for navigating constantly evolving situations
- An open mind and a willingness to question the status-quo
You might also have
- An interest in computer games or software for creative applications
- An understanding of version control principles, perhaps including some familiarity with systems such as Git, Mercurial or Perforce
