Release Coordinator

Overview
As a Release Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing release and deploy processes for several different projects. The Release Coordinator will become familiar with build pipelines, maintenance schedules, and public messaging standards as they support the release management processes. You will be expected to become a subject matter expert in these areas in order to contribute to the overall organizational success by reducing downtime while minimizing risk to the business.
Responsibilities
- Support maintenances for various products and services in both internal and production environments
- Assist in identification and resolution of incidents, including player and stakeholder communication
- Become knowledgeable of products and services in order to assist in troubleshooting and triaging issues
- Maintains release documentation and key information such as build and release procedures and notification processes
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early morning hours or longer shifts
- Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call support rotations
- Proven tolerance for ambiguity and a willingness to jump in and assume tasks to support the success of the team
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
- Passionate about continuously learning and sharing knowledge with others
Preferred Skills
- Basic Command Line
- Exposure to Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Comfortable with managing conflicting priorities and emerging requests
- Critical, creative thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with and confident in cross functional collaboration
- Background in customer support, quality assurance, or other live product support
- Experience with digital application publishing, especially PC and Mobile
