Wargaming is currently seeking a talented, highly motivated, passionate and experienced Regional Marketing Manager to join our team. The Regional Marketing Manager will drive marketing strategy in the Americas and lead execution of integrated marketing efforts to launch & sustain an unannounced F2P GaaS. The role will work with the global brand and the global publishing organization to develop go to market plans for each market in the region and manage cross-functional teams to ensure those plans are executed effectively.
As Regional Marketing Manager, you are the owner of the America’s GTM through collaboration with the global brand and publishing teams. This Manager position will be responsible for executing long lead integrated territory specific marketing strategies while maintaining a cohesive campaign in the Americas. Success in this role requires creativity, a deep understanding of audience, media buying and analysis, direct and indirect leadership within marketing and other cross-functional teams, and a focus on ROI for integrated marketing plans. All of this should support engaging audiences while displaying the best our game has to offer.
The Regional Marketing Director for North America
What will you do?
Territory Marketing: Create the long lead strategic territory specific go to market plans. The territory specific plans will identify marketing opportunities, challenges and solutions that match the overall strategic vision established by global brand while guiding cross-functional teams in their planning and filling out the complete integrated marketing campaign. The Regional Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Brand Manager in the review of cross-functional team plans to ensure that they stay true to the brand, are appropriate for the audience, and that the brand image remains consistent across all channels of communication across the globe.
Territory Strategy: Define the GTM strategy for the game and its community of players within the confines of what makes sense by territory and region. Utilize the global brand and strategy to create the territory level marketing plans as well as the development of regularly timed and specific campaigns that are data informed and territory centric. This will also support and guide the rest of the territory marketing teams with their specific campaign planning as well as external media, partners, creative, and other agencies where appropriate.
Media Planning: Take a lead role in development of paid media plans. Write media strategy, brief and manage agency through creation of full cycle media plan, in partnership with brand and cross functional marketing. Manage day to day relationship with media agency, providing timely updates, assets & direction, and managing timelines to ensure all milestones are achieved throughout planning and execution phases
Ongoing Business Management: Analyze performance data, including revenue and in-game data, to identify opportunities and challenges, then create strategies to improve results. Conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis within managed territory to ensure consumer and market trends are informing key GTM strategies.
Coaching and Team Development: The Regional Marketing Manager is the Americas lead, coordinating with Brand Marketing and the cross functional marketing teams to ensure a cohesive long lead integrated territory specific strategy & GTM. The Regional Marketing Manager should provide leadership and guidance to the Marketing Team at large related to their game as well as mentor those reporting into them.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business-related field, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in games or entertainment industry Marketing. Preferably, with experience managing GaaS working on live/service based F2P titles for the Americas.
- Media planning experience, either on the client or agency side
- Demonstrated success in territory specific long lead GTM, creative and media strategies, customer acquisition, performance marketing, analysis and trends, and a broad understanding of related marketing fields
- Ability to influence, inspire, and motivate people within the team as well as across the global organization
- Hands-on approach to implementation of and strong ownership for the success of campaigns.
