This role is responsible for supporting HSE programs across the Americas Field Service Operations and the Tulsa Integration Center, while partnering with business leadership and managers to develop and deliver best-in-class HSE programs. This includes supporting the teams in building a strong culture of safety and compliance. This role will support the business in integrating the right practices, systems, training programs, and tools to drive full engagement. You will foster a strong culture of safety committed to safe work practices, incident and accident prevention, regulatory compliance, environmental management, and sustainability throughout the region. You will drive continuous improvement of safety performance through strong collaboration with various stakeholders. This role will report to the VP, Global HSE.What you'll do
- Ability to deploy HSE strategy in a manner that transforms culture, minimizes risk and leads to performance improvements
- Lead and manage incident investigation process including causal analysis and corrective actions while engaging business leaders
- Ensure organizational activities comply with relevant legislative requirements including recent COVID related updates
- Implement site HSE plan and drive increased maturity through broader engagement in accordance with Maturity model framework;
- Develop and deliver HSE training content in accordance with HSE Training Matrix
- Support Business Resilience / Crisis Management Teams and manage Emergency Response process for US
- Lead risk assessment / JHA completion program
- Coordinate Vehicle Risk Reduction program for Field Services
- Develop, maintain, review a site HSE inspection and internal audit program
- Track metrics and report monthly to key stakeholder’s monthly data including effective recordkeeping on all HSE matters
- Design new programs, methods and contribute to the successful maintenance and continuous improvement of the HSE culture and management system in conjunction with the broader teams
- Executing of the Environmental Health and Safety strategy to continuously improve the HSE Management System in line with 45001 occupational health and safety systems
- Establish framework and process for safety meetings and safety committees and ensure completion in manufacturing site and with field services team
- Contribute to and coordinate incident and significant near miss investigations in consultation with relevant business unit leaders
- Be the first point of contact for HSE regulators, legal providers, insurers, and other service providers.
- In consultation with appropriate stakeholder groups, design, development, deployment, monitoring and review of HSE systems, processes, and programs
- Ensure integration of HSE systems, processes and programs with Aristocrat Technologies operations, our clients’ expectations, and legislative requirements.
- Monitors compliance with all applicable local legislation and codes governing environmental health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Develops and deploys incident investigation programs/procedures, including data analysis and incident prevention (loss control) programs and procedures.
- Creates and deploys HSE education/training efforts for all levels of employees, including supervision and senior management.
- Facilitates the reporting of HSE performance across the organization and supports the development and implementation of Regional Safety Improvement Plans.
- Design and deploy the HSE portions of the training programs, Incident Management System and Audit/Inspection tracking system.
- Manages industrial hygiene, occupational and general safety programs to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years’ experience as an HSE professional with multi-site requirements
- Ideally a background in production / manufacturing environment and / or field service HSE
- Highly organized in your approach to work, you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working autonomously. You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to engage and influence across all levels of an organization.
- A demonstrable understanding of the risk management process and the practical application of HSE, Workers Compensation and other relevant legislative requirements
- A commitment to the development and improvement of professional standards and knowledge within the HSE profession
- Degree in Science, Engineering or HS&E preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) desired
- Strong safety system knowledge and demonstrated experience of auditing
- The ability to collaborate with others, provide honest and constructive advice and demonstrate behaviors consistent with proactive lead safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently across multiple levels of the business from manufacturing sites to field services, while aligning closely with Corporate HSE requirements and objectives
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and requirements
