The Regional Director establishes and manages in the Region the organization that will facilitate intra-group cooperation, both by overseeing the support provided by Shared Services to the Service Lines, and by making sure at the same time that the group priorities are promoted, and compliance is enforced. The Regional Director is responsible for supporting the development of the Studios within the region through day-to-day infrastructure operations management, guiding internal and external communications, promoting positive morale, and overseeing other activities in support of the services we provide to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Regional Organization, with a focus on the implementation of a network of Shared Services hubs, with the intention to expand it as needed to support the business while building efficiencies.
- Supported by the deployment of integrated tools, define with the different Shared Services (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Facilities) processes to facilitate cooperation in the Region between the Service Lines and those Shared Services, as well as between the Service Lines.
- Advising the Service Lines on OPEX optimizations and monitor and report KPIs in the Region.
- Enforce operational discipline and compliance across all Departments, while always ensuring minimum disruption to our clients.
- Support new Studio integrations by deploying our framework of Shared Services.
- Provide the Service Lines and Shared Services with internal consulting on regional operational projects, facilitating new investments and initiatives across the organization.
- With a focus on transformation and change management, directly manage regional transversal projects.
- Promote a positive working environment where people at all levels feel safe, respected and engaged
- Facilitate employee communications, promoting employee feedback and providing regular reports to the Group on employee engagement.
- Co-ordinate on all Environmental and Social Responsibility (ESR) activities within the studio, in line with the Group’s Responsible Business Agenda.
- Establish excellent relationship with Universities, Local Authorities and Government Bodies that may support Talent attraction for the Studio.
- Any other task assigned by the Spine.
Requirements
- Proven experiences in an international company with similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a similar field; MBA is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Chinese.
- Experience in leading and managing people – inspirational leader.
- Very high proven communication skills. Transparency, outgoing, extravert / ambivert. Easy to talk to, straight forward.
- MD and/or strong admin compliance knowledge and experience in the Region. Experience in dealing with governments / local authorities. Basic+ proficiency in Finance and Legal matters.
- Thorough and organized. Process-driven. Knows how to design a process based on experiences.
- Self-directed, autonomous. Fun!
- Ability to build strong business relationships internally and externally based on trust and partnership
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn; Strategic-oriented mind-set and strong analytical skills.
- Flexibility and natural intelligence in responding to various senior management team.
- 15% travel as necessary, very few during Covid.
