Job Overview

The Content Specialist for World of Warships APAC will assist Regional Content Manager who partners with global content team to define, develops, and executes content strategy working collaboratively with multiple Wargaming stakeholders to ensure seamless process. This role contributes to create the most compelling discovery experience through artwork, video, and copy by connecting our millions of gamers from Asian countries in APAC, with a focus on our growing Japan region.

This role is based in our Singapore or Japan office and may require some travel in future.

Reports To

Regional Content Manager, APAC, World of Warships

What will you do?

Work closely with Regional Content Manager of WOWS, regional functions and global point of contact to drive engaging content for gamers especially in Japan region
Initiate and drive the content strategy for Japan audience
Produce written content for both WOWS and WOWSL
You will be a regional expert to align global and regional efforts towards business priorities by managing content operational processes
Be the point of contact for all things content for Japan region with cross-functional responsibility for APAC

What are we looking for?

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, in Japanese and English
Experience working in an operational excellence role by implementing scalable processes to gain organizational efficiency
Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships (eg. Product Management, Community, Customer Service and Localization) to collaborate closely
Experience working in relevant gaming, entertainment, or tech industries
Ability to propose both short and long-term solutions and work in a fast-paced changing environment
Respect, understands, and value individual differences to champion diversity and achieve the vision of Wargaming
Open minded – willing to enjoy & dive into game and market that is not your favorite

What additional skills will help you stand out?

Experience in website content related work
Experience in project management software
Experience working in a relevant gaming, anime, media, lifestyle entertainment companies for Japan market
Familiarity with Wargaming products
Proficiency in other Asian language is a plus
