Recruitment Manager
Blackbird is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our team. We need someone passionate about leading our recruitment strategy and team while taking responsibility for guiding Blackbird’s growth. Responsibilities
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the unique needs to support their teams
- Proactively source passive candidates and build a diverse pipeline of talent that aligns with Blackbird’s values.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the recruitment team members.
- Be a strategic talent advisor to our leadership teams, providing insight and direction to ensure we are attracting diverse and qualified candidates to the company.
- Partner with the HR and Resourcing teams to conduct workforce planning, identify talent trends, and develop recruiting strategies to support short-term and long-term hiring plans.
- Help implement employer branding projects to provide an insightful view into what makes Blackbird an amazing company to work for.
- Problem solve, identify opportunities, and evolve the Recruitment processes.
- Promote DE&I and deliver inclusive hiring practices
Requirements
- Ability to organize multiple projects and shift focus depending on project/studio needs
- A successful track record of developing and talent strategies that solve complex business needs.
- 5+ years of recruitment experience with 1+ years of experience in a People Manager capacity, ideally within growth-oriented high-tech environments
- Ability and drive to provide mentorship, leadership and cross-training to other members of the Recruitment team.
- Proven track record of finding, hiring, and retaining great people.
- Ability to recruit across all business units, including IT and leadership
- Collaborative leadership, mentorship and development of team members
- Proficient with different HRIS and ATS
- Ability to track, analyze, and develop strategies based on recruitment metrics
- Ability to set priorities in an environment of constant change
- Experience using different tools and methods to engage potential candidates such as social media, recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter), industry specific job boards and sites
Pluses
- Experience with Recruitment/Human Resources in video games or an adjacent industry (High-tech, VFX, Animation etc.)
- Knowledge of the gaming industry
