We’re looking for a Recruitment Lead to join our growing team!!
The Role
With a strong track-record in recruitment, you’ll know what it takes to build a strong pipeline; you’re enthusiastic about the process of identifying talent and ensuring an excellent candidate experience from start to finish. Working closely with the team of Internal Recruiters to provide support and guidance, you’ll oversee all recruitment within the studio to ensure our hiring processes are as effective and efficient as possible.
Duties would include:
- Work closely with hiring managers and producers to understand hiring requirements
- Ensure comprehensive job descriptions are in place, advising on and contributing to these as necessary
- Craft attractive and compelling job adverts to promote both the open role and the studio itself
- Ensure all job openings are posted on the company careers page and relevant job boards
- Work closely with the social media team to create recruitment campaigns and to ensure open roles are continually promoted on all social channels
- Ownership of recruitment agency relationships, ensuring agencies are fully up to date with requirements and status of open hires
- Responsibility for maintenance of central recruitment list, making sure all roles are fully specified with clear set priorities
- Overall management of all active vacancies, assigning to Internal Recruiters as appropriate to ensure even distribution of workload
- Provide day-to-day support, guidance and mentoring to Internal Recruiters
- Regularly communicate vacancies internally to promote staff referral scheme, and manage internal applications from staff appropriately
- Ensure ATS is well maintained and fully utilised
- Provide regular reporting on status of recruitment campaigns, cost per hire, time to hire, conversation rates, etc.
- Support and guide hiring managers on all aspects of recruitment
- Take an innovative and creative approach to finding new ways of reaching and engaging with top talent
- Take a lead on organising presence at industry recruitment fairs and build relationships with relevant Universities
- Create and run an annual internship programme
- Continually review and seek to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process, for both the candidate and the studio
- Keep up to date on industry changes and market trends
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Proven in-house recruitment background within either a creative or technology industry
- Experience of mentoring and/or supervising others
- Exceptional communicator in all forms with ability to easily adapt style to suit the audience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and engaging with ability to confidently converse with key stakeholders
- Show an adaptable and resilient character with a highly positive, collaborative and proactive work ethic
- Be able to balance the needs of the candidate with the needs of the studio
- Pragmatic and hands-on
- Experience of using at least one Applicant Tracking System
- Confident user of LinkedIn Recruiter
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
These aren’t required, but it would be great if you:
- Have experience of recruiting within the video games industry
- Enjoy playing video games
