HR & Recruitment Administrator (6 month contract)

Climax Studios is looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active Recruitment Coordinator. You will be supporting our HR / Recruitment team by taking responsibility for the majority of administrative tasks for day-to-day recruitment activities, including arranging interviews and liaising with applicants.
This role is full-time and based in our Portsmouth studio. Initially it will be on an in-house fixed term contract of 6 months, with a view to permanent employment and future progression to other areas of recruitment.
This position would suit a candidate with some previous games’ / technical industry recruitment experience with a passion for internal recruitment.
Within this role you will:
- Work closely with the team to deliver first-class service to the business
- Co-ordinate candidates coming for interview, booking interviews and travel efficiently
- Maintain the candidate database (Workable)
- Help co-ordinate and attend recruitment events where required
- Assist with on-boarding & relocation
- Write and post job descriptions
- Update the website and social media as required
- Ad-hoc support to other depts as required, including possible reception cover
- Providing feedback including email rejections
Requirements
- Experience with heavy scheduling, and a close attention to detail
- Strong networking, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and strong organisational skills
- Effective time-management with the ability to shift priorities when necessary
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
- Proficient with social media platforms
- Experience and knowledge of technical recruitment in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with relocation and on-boarding
- A self-starter with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- A degree level education and / or prior experience of at least 1 year
- Passion for gaming & technology and an enthusiasm to work in a creative environment
