Jam City is creating a new role on their Global Talent and Corporate Marketing team. The role straddles two distinct outward facing facets of the Jam City business: first being an operational partner to the Recruiting team and secondly, working closely with in corporate marketing to elevate the Jam City brand through events and partnerships. The common thread with both initiatives will be the outward facing engagement that elevates Jam City in a high growth gaming and entertainment vertical. The ideal candidate will apply the same service and commitment to working closely with the Talent Acquisition team as well proactive collaboration with professional/collegiate organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with talent acquisition and hiring managers to develop job descriptions, and aid the interviewing process.
- Manage ATS system with candidates and internal/external job postings including running weekly reports that track hires, time to fill, open headcount, and referrals.
- Develop creative and customized sourcing strategies ensuring a wide breadth of applicants for new roles.
- Manage collegiate outreach and Internship program by maintaining relationships with student run clubs, career services, and other on-campus activities.
- Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet Jam City business objectives.
- Compile, analyze and capture insights from talent and partnership data to support business decisions.
- In partnership with Human Resources and Studios, evolve external diversity sourcing, outreach efforts, recruitment strategies, and partnerships.
- Develop Jam City awareness participating in events at top technical, advanced business and art schools through career fairs, community network events and “demo days”.
- Work closely with Communications, HR and GM’s to vet and develop partnerships to maximize exposure for Jam City.
- Have a keen eye to ID new opportunities that align with Jam City’s mission, and help grow our brand.
- Partner with Social Media team to manage Jam City’s corporate social presence across LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Corporate Instagram tracking events, current happenings, and #lifeatjamcity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years Recruiting related experience, preferably in a high-growth, fast paced, environment.
- Experience working in a tech / gaming company.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize responsibilities, identify and resolve problems, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills in both verbal and written format.
- Desire and ability to work collaboratively in a small group dynamic.
- Strong sense of confidentiality.
- Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting policies, practices, and trends, and sourcing strategies.
- Advanced internet research expertise on social media/ networking to engage and maintain candidate pools.
- Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
- Familiarity working with an Applicant Tracking System (Lever preferred).
- Strong excel skills.
