Job Overview:
Are you ready to build a team of the best and brightest talent for a leader in the mobile gaming space? Our team here at PlayQ is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to act as a true partner to the business and scale our teams during this critical stage of growth.
As a full-cycle recruiter you will have the rare opportunity to develop, drive, and execute on proven hiring strategies and will take on responsibilities such as sourcing, screening and closing of top talent.
You’d be a perfect match for this position if you work effectively and efficiently with internal stakeholders and candidates, possess a natural curiosity and drive to develop creative hiring solutions and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full life cycle recruitment process for roles across multiple disciplines such as Art, Engineering, Product, Production and more
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including sourcing, outreach communication, interview plan development, scheduling, offer creation and negotiation
- Create a positive candidate experience throughout all touch points of the recruitment process
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals
- Implement sourcing best practices to develop a rich talent pool to support all current and future hiring needs
- Create engaging content and messaging to attract top talent to our team
- Serve as a company ambassador to promote PlayQ as a top employment destination
- Confidently guide and empower our hiring teams to make great hiring decisions
- Identify and execute innovative employer branding initiatives
- Host and attend recruiting events, meetups, and other networking events
- Support US-based candidate sourcing on an ad-hoc basis
- Thoughtfully communicate recruitment updates and escalate roadblocks to the hiring team
Requirements:
- B.S./B.A. degree from an accredited college/university
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience for a tech company or agency
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles
- Proven and successful track record of engaging, pitching and recruiting talent across multiple disciplines
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple searches, candidates at different stages, and various recruitment projects
- Excellent negotiation and critical thinking skills, with the ability to skillfully set and manage expectations throughout the recruitment process
- Ability to proactively communicate your thoughts, opinions and roadblocks effectively and in an organized and thoughtful manner
- Understanding of the importance in creating and influencing company culture in your role
- Warm, positive, personable with a genuine interest in people. You set the tone and tend to attract people to you
- Strong understanding of the importance of company culture and the responsibility to help create and evolve it
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
- Very comfortable with technology (think Slack, Atlassian, Trello and Google Suite)
- Intermediate English skills
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS
- Previously established network in the gaming/tech community
- Experience running recruitment reporting
