Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition team are pleased to be hiring an additional Recruiter to support our Quality Assurance (QA) teams based in Liverpool, UK.
The Liverpool campus covers two key departments, PlayStation Studios QA & Global Format QA. Both teams play a meaningful role in the testing and compliance of our products. PlayStation Studio QA leads the testing for our internal games studios and other SIE entities. The Global Format QA team perform technical requirement compliance testing on all PlayStation product releases.
Reporting into the Director, Talent Acquisition with a dotted line into one of our experienced hire Recruiters you will:
What you’ll be doing
- Look after the recruitment process from brief to offer across temporary and entry level permanent hiring requirements for the QA business areas.
- Work with managers to develop compelling job adverts that really resonate with perspective candidates. Additionally, define attraction and selection processes at briefing stage.
- Support the QA hiring managers with scheduling all Interview bookings and candidate management through their hiring processes.
- Manage candidate offers and ensure appropriate paperwork is generated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ambassador for the brand when promoting the business to candidates and working with agency suppliers.
- Ensure the ATS and recruitment reporting is up to date to aid with hiring metrics.
- Talent pool and recycle candidates across the divisions by championing silver medallists to other QA departments to reduce time to hire for volume recruitment needs.
- In collaboration with the QA teams attend and coordinate external careers fairs/ events to promote the PlayStation brand.
- Support and mentor hiring managers on best practice interview techniques, process improvements and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hiring initiatives.
- Working closely with your HR Business Partner to ensure a collaborative, transparent relationship is achieved.
- Partner with your HR BP and hiring teams on volume hire planning campaigns.
- Partnering with our charity partners such as Innovate Her, Princes Trust to help promote career opportunities in gaming.
- In times of high workload demands across the wider TA team support our TA Coordinator with interview booking requests and new starter on-boarding administration.
What we're looking for
- Personable, strong communicator who can work with a variety of internal & external customers at all levels.
- Passionate about gaming and PlayStation. Champions the business as an employer brand ambassador.
- You may currently be an experienced Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment/ HR Coordinator wanting to make the move into a Recruiter role. Or an existing Recruiter that is passionate about entry level volume recruiting.
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who can work on their own initiative.
- Able to manage a high volume of vacancies across some demanding departments.
- Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong resilience with a pragmatic approach.
- Have a blended recruiting career background of both agency and in-house experience.
Desirable:
- Experience of volume hiring Quality Assurance (QA) roles for a gaming organisation would be desirable.
- Experience of running and coordinating assessment centre formats or volume hiring processes.
- Diversity & Inclusion experience for volume hiring campaigns.
- Previous experience of working in an in-house Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment function.
