We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist us with our EU recruiting efforts who will be based in our Berlin, Germany office. The chosen candidate will work within a tightly-knit, fun, supportive and collaborative global Human Resources team.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for creating job descriptions, posting & promoting job posts, sourcing candidates, visiting job fairs, communicating with staffing services, scheduling & interviewing candidates, and assisting with onboarding. When not hiring, placing, or welcoming new employees, TA Specialists oversee current employee satisfaction and productivity, ensuring that the workplace is always running efficiently. Additionally this person will actively source candidates in order to find star performers to fill our pipeline!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owning full-cycle recruiting and hiring process to include coordinating job posts, writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, performing reference checks
  • Completing salary and market research
  • Implementing the organization’s full-cycle recruiting strategy
  • Administering pre-employment tests
  • Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Assisting with completing background investigations
  • Processing transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
  • Explaining HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
  • Main point of contact for candidates and/or agencies in the region

REQUIREMENTS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or similar work experience)
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience (in-house or at an agency)
  • Great communication skills, both written and oral
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and call candidates or speak to various hiring managers/stakeholders across the organization as necessary
  • Strong job writing skills
  • Solid grasp of job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and how to effectively source and bring in new talent
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Must speak and write English at a business level
  • Must speak and write German at a business level
  • Ability to work and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn, understand and adapt quickly to new changes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, professional image of the organization

Preferred

  • Bilingual in French

Interaction:

  • Ability to participate in or to lead special projects
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Performs well on cross-functional project teams
