Re-Recording Mixer - Riot Audio: Post Production

In 2013, Riot released its music video “Get Jinxed” for it’s acclaimed title League of legends. Since then Riot has released a steady stream of content for its players to enhance the League experience. Around the world you can find League players excited and engaged in the storytelling around the League of Legends Universe. Delivering a game to a global audience of millions of players while also building the worlds, characters, and themes of League of Legends doesn’t happen overnight. That's where you come in.

Re-recording Mixers at Riot have a broad understanding of Dialog, Music, and Sound Editorial and a deep knowledge of how those elements tell a story. Re-Recording Mixers want to create technically exquisite soundscapes for each or Riot’s cinematic products. As a Re-Recording Mixer at Riot, you're an expert in Pro Tools. You have an effortless understanding of industry hardware, mix standards, formats, and deliverables. You are familiar with all of the concepts related to audio sub-crafts which you oversee and can bring them together cohesively within the vision of your team!

As a Re-Recording Mixer in Riot Audio Post-Production, you will report to the Audio Post Production Lead as you mix and provide industry standard work for linear media. With a clear understanding of post-production standards, you will provide thoughtful and iconic cinematic soundscapes. This will involve coordinating and communicating creative intent with sound designers, composers, and creative leads, and collaborating with teams across Riot to understand their product, and to provide support. You will collaborate with a passionate team of audio and video professionals. Responsibilities:

• Re-Recording Mix of Dialog, Sound, and Music
• Manage the Technical Quality and Specifications of Deliverables for Linear Media
• Sound Recording and Editorial (Dialog, Foley, ADR)
• Collaborate with Riot Games Marketing and Audio Teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio, Media, or Related Field
• 3+ years audio industry experience in film, television, or games
• Knowledge of audio post-production tools & techniques (ProTools, Nuendo, Reaper, Izotope, Waves, Native Instruments, etc)
• Intermediate knowledge of Dialog, Music, and Sound Editorial Techniques
• Understand Recording Techniques

Desired Qualifications:

3+ years experience working in traditional audio post-production services
