Main Purpose of the Role

Partner with the GO DiSCO team to manage the deliverables for submission of EA content to First Party.

This includes coordinating the preparation, verification, and delivery of metadata for all content and tracking and maintaining the content’s status in the PLM Digital Publishing JIRA database.

The RTO DiSCO Associate Release Manager will work closely with EA’s First Party account managers, Bramd teams and Merchandising groups and other key internal EA teams (PLM Franchise Ops, DiSCO, Real-time Operations (RTO), Commercial, Studio/QA, and Asia Ops) to ensure the efficient and timely release of EA’s content on First Party platforms.

The RTO DiSCO Associate Release Manager will be a part of a motivated team that can provide diverse and cross regional support to ensure there is always coverage for projects in both the Central European and Pacific time zones. The RTO DiSCO Associate Release Manager will become an expert in their platform and provide support for all release management activities and guidance on First Party requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketplace set up and delivery of digital content materials to submissions team
  2. Support EA’s Publishing organization in the Sales and Marketing activities to promote all commercial digital products
  3. Work with internal EA global teams for set up and submission of materials/software to support each launch
  4. Help deliver on-time and accurate product metadata and assets to support the release of content in the digital channels with the franchise plan
  5. Coordinate digital product release plans and deliverables and report out to all partners
  6. Report main metrics for the main functions
  7. Partner with Global Localization team to ensure accurate translations of product metadata copy
  8. Work with internal EA global teams to provide complete content packages to the Global PLM Submissions team
  9. Assist the DiSCO managers with First Parties on our commercial and operational requirements
  10. Review and request updates for the weekly PSM Pre-order Status report to global publishing teams
  11. Review on an ongoing basis the process documentation for the PLM Digital Publishing organization
  12. Maintain a general level of understanding of all internal digital publishing requirements relating to platform(s)
  13. Also required, as needed:

o occasionally coordinate the Metadata submission process for platforms as support for the Submissions team

o support delivery and submission of assets

o provide knowledge and support to Studios to increase their understanding of the Metadata submission process and its requirements

Special Considerations

  1. To provide support during Pacific Standard Time, a night shift is established within the team. A rotation plan will be in place to ensure that each team member covers the night shift for portions of the year.
  2. The Real-time Operations department is a dynamic part of the business where there are peak periods of activity therefore it is necessary that you have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends.
  3. Taking annual leave during these periods is limited.

Skills

  1. Experience working closely with numerous partners in a project environment.
  2. Experience in coordination of delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects.
  3. MS Office knowledge and an ability to quickly grasp other computer applications.
  4. Co-collaborate and work towards a common goal together with other partners.
  5. Use a variety of styles to persuade and put across own view in a positive way..
  6. Excellent written and spoken English is required for the role.
