Main Purpose of the Role

Assist Global Operations within the Global Publishing Organization with the management of submission activities to First Party platform holders ensuring compliance to the relevant requirements. The role also supports Franchise Operations for schedule, content management and reporting.

This includes:

· Preparation and submission of metadata for all digital products

· Tracking and maintaining its status in the DiSCO JIRA database

· Execute submission verification tests under direction from the Submissions team

· Real-time delivery of First Party test result notifications and tracking of submission status via FPS JIRA

· Setting up, scheduling and maintaining all key deliverables dates and dependencies for each Edition on a title using PLM’s scheduling tools to ensure accurate reporting of key dates

· Help maintain the Global Operations Website and SharePoint sites and content, including version-controlled Project Tracker and Schedule documents, reports, etc.

· Negotiation of compressed timelines with all the necessary teams when required to ensure content can still hit its release date with all key components intact

· Adhere to existing operational procedures, identify any areas of redundancy in an effort to build efficiencies; flag issues to Franchise Leads and Managers.

The role will partner with EA Certification groups as part of the submission process, Studio teams as part of the Franchise responsibilities, the Analytics group as part of the reporting responsibilities and also work with key internal teams (DiSCO, RTO, Studio/QA, and Asia Ops), to ensure product submission to First Party and approval timelines meet the Franchise Ops Title Plan, and all data is correct and up to date in all documents and tools.

The RTO Associate Project Manager will be part of a high-performing team that can provide cross functional and cross regional support to deliver coverage across assigned time-zones. The RTO Associate Project Manager will train to be experts across platforms in order to provide support across all EA products. The role will offer support in different time-zones to ensure coverage for projects is always available in both Central European and Pacific time zones.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinate the Metadata submission process for all platforms.

· Support the delivery and submission of assets.

· Run appropriate verification procedures to ensure submission assets are final and ready for submission to First Party.

· Ensure internal project task/date tracking tools are maintained and up to date at all times.

· Ensure real-time delivery of First Party test result notifications and reports and tracking of submissions statistics.

· Provide knowledge and support to Studios to increase their understanding of the Metadata submission process and its requirements.

· Set up, schedule and maintain all key deliverable dates and dependencies for each product and patch, using PLM’s scheduling tool to ensure accurate reporting of key dates

· Ensure maximum coordination and communication between North America, Europe, and Asia Submission teams; operate with a global focus.

· Maintain a general level of understanding of all internal requirements relating to hardware platform(s).

· Support management in developing a stronger proactive and continuously improving team culture.

· Partner with the Mastering Lab go create discs for Age Ratings boards tests and coordinate the delivery of those discs to each location

Special Considerations

· The Real Time Operations team is a dynamic part of the Global Publishing Organization where there are peak periods of activity therefore it is necessary that the incumbent has a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends.

· Taking annual leave during these periods is limited.

· In order to provide support during Pacific Standard Time, a night shift is established within the team. A rotation plan will be in place to ensure that each team member covers the night shift for portions of the year.

Skills and Knowledge Required

· Previous experience of working closely with numerous stakeholders in a project environment.

· Experience in coordination of delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects with tight deadlines.

· Proven skills of MS Office and an ability to quickly grasp other computer applications.

· Co-operate, collaborate and work towards a common goal in conjunction with other stakeholders.

· Use a variety of styles to persuade and put across own view in a positive way.

· Identify, focus and implement changes needed and increase the sense of urgency.

· Consistently attempt to exceed customer expectations.

· Ability to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail.

· Communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally. Excellent written and spoken English is required for the role.

Experience Required

Previous experience of:

· Managing multiple projects at once.

Desirable Experience

· Knowledge of the technical requirements of at least one console manufacturer and associated tools.

· A passion for video games is advantageous.

· Project management experience

· Basic SQL and database management knowledge
