Principales tâches et responsabilités

Sous la supervision du responsable de la localisation, le candidat sélectionné travaillera au sein de l’équipe responsable de la traduction et de la rédaction du contenu des jeux, des communiqués de presse et de d’autres documents variés destinés à l’interne. La polyvalence, la flexibilité ainsi que la capacité à faire le meilleur usage possible des ressources disponibles sont essentiel à ce poste. La traduction devra s’effectuer de l’anglais au Chinois traditionnel et une grande partie de la rédaction sera accomplie sur des textes déjà rédigés en Chinois Traditionnel. Les tests de jeux font partie intégrante du poste et représentent une grosse partie du travail

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Localization Manager, the successful candidate will work within a team responsible for the translation and editing of game content, press releases and other varied internal documents. Adaptability and flexibility, as well as the ability to make effective use of all available resources, are key to this role. The texts to be translated will be from English into Traditional Chinese, and there is a substantial amount of editing to be done on texts already written in Traditional Chinese. Localisation testing will also account for a significant amount of the workload.

Gameloft also offered 3D games for the first time in 2004, as well as real-time multiplayer in 2005, on the most advanced mobile models and networks at the time. 400 phones were compatible, and the Java game lineup reached 200 titles in 2007.In 2008, Gameloft successfully shifted towards smartphones and touchscreen interfaces. Gameloft was the first company to offer 6 games on the Apple App Store after it was launched on July 9, 2008. For the first time, Gameloft’s yearly sales figures surpassed the 100-million-euro mark.
