Quality ManagerSummary
The RMG Quality Manager will play an integral role in defining and executing the RMG Quality Strategy. This individual will work with a large cross-section of functional teams and Subject Matter Experts to build a best-in-class quality team, refining our quality and test strategies, and remediating issues as and when they happen. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to the quality tribe, mentor junior quality associates, and be the ‘go-to’ for testing and quality best practices. This individual will promote a culture of frictionless cross-functional collaboration and work with various levels of stakeholders /partners from frontline staff to executives.What You'll Do
- Visible leader of cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Leads quality and performance analysis efforts that drive measurable quality improvements for the organization that results in continuous cost savings, reduced time to market, and increased customer satisfaction
- Generates insightful reports for Senior Leadership that communicate the quality performance of products & services.
- Creates/establishes effective frameworks that help the organization plan and design quality into the product development, delivery, and support cycle embracing the spirit of “Shift Left”
- Provides quality leadership to the Program Reviews to proactively identify quality risks/concerns and escalate to delivery leads where necessary and identify resolution
- Drives efforts to embed quality planning framework early into the development to delivery.
- Conducts reviews of quality artifacts (quality/test plans, defect/incident reports, software hygiene compliance, quality action requests, RCA, correct/preventative measures, etc).
- Promotes customer/player-first mindset and frictionless cross-functional culture
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in driving continuous improvement and excellence programs
- Expertise in industry-standard development, quality planning, quality control, testing, automation, and quality assurance tools, processes, and best practices
- Good understanding of the Mobile Gaming Industry is preferred
- Great oral and written communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Proven leadership skills and passion for cultivating a culture of customer-first quality
- This position may require some domestic and international travel.
- This position is based in India and offers flexible work options.
