The QC Lead is responsible to assist in the supervision and implementation of ATI’s quality control systems to ensure that ATI’s electronic gaming machines meet the quality specifications. The Quality Control Team Lead guides a team of inspectors working in day and night shifts, to support the implementation of best practices throughout the production process and is a gatekeeper between products being assembled and the customer. This position closely works with the Quality Engineers to support field complaint resolution and ensure mitigation actions are implemented right away at the production line.
This position reports to the Quality Supervisor. This position is primarily a day shift position but may need to work weekend or overtimes as needed.What You'll Do
- Assist the Quality Supervisor with direct supervision of QC techs. Ensures implementation of the plan, coordination, and priorities of the QC inspection activities to support production schedules published by the Production Supervisor.
- Ensures that all shippable level products produced by Production meet quality standards.
- Supports and implements ISO practices and procedures with the inspection team.
- Ensures that products are inspected per UL Compliance requirements and other regulatory requirements.
- Provides motivation to QC Inspection associates to maintain productivity
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Must have a good understanding of industry workmanship standards, inspection techniques, and quality systems
- At least a basic knowledge of PC hardware, AC/DC circuits and electronic components is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the casino gaming industry is preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S concepts is preferred
- Familiarity with good ESD practices preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Obtaining Gaming License is required
- Minimum of 2 years team lead experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance position is required.
