We are looking for a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Ad Exchange team and help us build the best advertising platform for mobile developers. You'll be responsible and accountable for defining acceptance criteria for feature development. Develop and implement end to end test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. Play a key role in ensuring all appropriate applications are fully tested and instrumented to drive and measure optimal customer experience.
Impact You Will Make :
- Work within an agile development environment with engineers, other testers and product owners to scope, test and ensure stability and also deliver world-class platform solutions.
- Collaborate with and assist the product owners on release planning and testing scope.
- Play an active role in the quality of production software
- Write unit tests, automation and debug in conjunction with engineering to help ensure the highest possible testing coverage.
- Help to continuously improve the test process
Who You Are:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of industry experience
- 5+ years experience with software testing, and debugging skills
- Solid understanding of core computer science concepts
- You know testing and quality assurance methodologies and processes
- Experience working in a software development and/or test development group
- Experience with Java, Javascript, Python, junit is essential
- Experience with load testing and load balance testing
- Ability to learn quickly
- Open and collaborative communication style
- You have excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- You like system-level thinking and interdisciplinary work
- You are able to manage your diverse tasks efficiently and meet your commitments
- You are interested in continuous learning and new technologies
The following experience would be a plus:
- Understanding of Scala
- Testing production-quality server software
- Testing real-time and multithreaded systems
- Testing on mobile devices
- Real-time communication over IP
- Analyzing log files and crash dumps
- Performance profiling and tools
- Web technologies
- You’re ready to dive head first into a fast-paced, dynamic, fun environment

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States.
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $185,000 per year. For applicants based in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $166,500 per year. For applicants based in New York City and New Jersey at the start of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $185,000 per year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position for applicants based in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,000 and $166,500 per year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays per calendar year, unlimited discretionary time off, and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
