We're looking for someone who loves to poke at games to see how they tick.
Beamdog, the company behind the Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Editions, is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to help us with our currently released and upcoming games.
This position is a 6 month contract with a possibility of conversation to full time employment.
Beamdog will accept remote applications within Canada for this position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with other departments to create and execute testing plans
- Assigning tests to outsource QA
- Reporting on QA test progress
- Reviewing & filing bug reports
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experiencing testing games in a professional capacity.
- Proven experience working in a multitasking environment
- Experience working in a collaborative environment.
- Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience developing or testing for tablets
- Experience with the Unreal Engine
- Experience with strategic wargames
- Experience with role playing games in general
