Quality Assurance Engineer - Prime Gaming and the Amazon Games Application

Prime Gaming is the Amazon Prime service offering members exclusive in-game content, a Twitch channel subscription, and a collection of free games monthly that are theirs to keep forever. To manage an ever-growing library of free games, Prime members rely on the Amazon Games App, a client-side application supporting the discovery and install of those same free games. Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing: defining test strategy, writing test plans, and designing and executing software tests
· Experience in both automated and manual testing
· Experience with at least one modern programming or scripting language such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python or PERL

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
· Breadth of prior experience including both client desktop and web testing
· Ability to understand technical specifications, designs, and code and to generate test cases from them
· Experience communicating with developers and technical leaders to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and tools that support the organization
· Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python or PERL
