QA Engineer
Miniclip is looking for a QA Engineer to hire in our Genoa (Italy) Games Development Studio. This is a full-time position, please apply only if you have the right to work in Europe and Italy.
It is an exciting opportunity to integrate into a highly effective and skilled team, developing cutting edge mobile games played by tens of millions of users.
Duties
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating, maintaining and extending a mobile automated testing framework.
- Creating, maintaining and extending the test scripting API.
- Reviewing software development needs and working across the engineering team to develop and implement appropriate product-wide test solutions.
- Developing test reporting capabilities.
- Write, execute and enhance test suites.
- Controlling and analyzing test executions.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a social, hard-working person who enjoys working in a team with other people and is passionate and dedicated about his/her work. The ideal candidate will be strongly skilled in the following:
- Strong technical background with 3+ years experience in an engineering role, desirably in similar functions in a mobile software QA department or development team.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, standards, methodologies, and tools (unit tests, integration tests, system tests, regression tests, acceptance tests, etc).
- Good programming skills with experience in C#, Java and optionally C++/Objective-C.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, bash, Groovy, etc.
- Proactivity to improve the Test Automation and Continuous Integration solutions by continually seeking to innovate.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The following skills are desirable:
- Experience with Unity 3D engine.
- Experience with the Selenium and Appium frameworks.
- Experience managing Jenkins CI.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience in Linux and macOS environments.
- Load/Performance test tools like JMeter, TSung.
- Experience in software R&D focused on mobile platform.
- Experience in tools and libraries development for mobile platform.
