Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon Game Growth

Amazon Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and maintain automated test solutions for our custom, video game-focused detail pages on the Amazon retail site, as well as associated products and technologies.

In this role, you will help define our testing processes. You will design and develop repeatable and automatable testing systems. You will work closely with leads from engineering, product, and user experience in order to understand features and technical implementation. For new products and features, you will identify use cases, create test plans, and create automated test cases in order to report to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of our products. For existing products and features, you will identify (and convert) manual test cases which should be converted into automated test cases. You will think creatively about how to break the software.

Basic Qualifications

· BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent knowledge via self-study or work experience of 3+ years)
· 5+ years QA experience
· 1+ years of experience with 1+ scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

· Proficiency in STLC, test methodologies, and problem solving
· Proficiency in 1+ scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
· Proficiency in 1+ programming languages (Java, C#, C++, or similar)
· 1+ years automated testing experience
· Experience testing retail web pages
· Experience testing back end services
· Experience testing mobile devices
· Experience working closely with development and business teams
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
