The Quality Assurance Analyst I carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The Quality Assurance Analyst I will collaborate with teams to define software specifications and controls and run test programsWhat You'll Do
- Meeting with development managers to discuss software specifications and controls.
- Using the software as intended to analyze its functional properties.
- Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.
- Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance.
- Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.
- Completing final tests and creating test reports.
- Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) process
- Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools
- Experience with build automation tools
- Good understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Expertise in root cause analysis, defect analysis, data analytics, cloud hosted solutions, virtualization, infrastructure, Agile methods, and DevSecOps.
- Support an effective Change Management program
- Ensure quality processes and procedures are followed to meet compliance quality requirements including ISO, CMMI, security and privacy
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse individuals and subject matter experts
- Maintain quality standards across products and services by writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven work experience as a software test engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of program testing software.
- Knowledge of debugging code and/or software development languages a plus.
- Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collate data and compile test reports.
- Excellent software troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to write complex software testing procedures.
- Exceptional written and oral skills sufficient to communicate effectively with business stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership and drive
- One or more of the following certifications or demonstrated comparable experience:
