Job Summary:
The QC Operations Manager will oversee QC (Quality Control Department) operations and as a primary responsibility, focus on organizational effectiveness by creating, documenting, and maintaining operations processes in collaboration with QC leaders, HR, Cost Control, IT, Admin, Management and WW QC team on resource and budget forecasting.
The role will require hands on understanding of data analytics, forecasts, budget management and estimation of the resources (both human and hardware) for the department.
The role will work closely with the QC Leadership team (local and global) and contribute towards the development and implementation of long-term organizational strategies, processes and practices on resource management, asset management and budget management.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Stock management / asset management including forecasting, planning, tracking purchase requests, current and forecasted assets per project resource forecast in liaison with QC Leadership Purchase & Inventory team.
- Day to day administration of resource planning and movement including managing floor plans, assets, infrastructure, etc
- Management of overtime billing/utilization on all projects in QC (Coordination with Finance and HR teams)
- Coordination with local/global IT teams to ensure smooth functioning of IT Infrastructure
- Resource planning / forecasting / movement management / billing management / utilization in coordination with local and global leadership and in line with local and global guidelines and processes. Coordination with HR Teams, Admin, Finance and IT to plan and manage attrition and hiring basis resource plan.
- Process Improvement on all processes related to but not limited to billing management, resource planning and management, resource and asset utilization, budget planning, forecasting and management.
- Create and manage dashboards on above topics.
- Work with PMO team and QC leaders to track and manage QC productivity and efficiency KPI’s. Govern FOW (Future of Work) policy
- Risk Management- Proactively anticipating and identifying operational risks and coordinate with relevant local/global stakeholders on mitigation strategies and solutions
- Cater/respond to adhoc operations related requests and responsibilities.
