QA manual and automation Engineer (Platform)

Wargaming is looking for a QA Engineer to join its Platform team.
Platform is a set of web services that provides universal functionality for operating games and managing player accounts. The main services provided by Platform are delivering games to audiences, registering and authenticating players, communicating with users, and game interactions with each other as well as external services.
What will you do?
- Work on automating the testing process—we're ready to help you switch to Python, if you've worked with another language
- Conduct integration testing of various web project interactions
- Create test documentation
- Create and work on tasks/defects
- Participate in deadline evaluation and release planning as part of an Agile team
What are we looking for?
- At least 2 years of experience in web application manual testing
- Basic knowledge of Python or experience in developing test scripts in any other languages (based on xUnit frameworks)
- At least 1 year of experience in automation testing—it doesn't have to be in Python, but a willingness to switch to Python is required
- Understanding of software development processes and the role of testing
- Knowledge of testing methods—functional, integration, load, and automated
- Understanding of client-server architecture, and knowledge of Network
- Experience in working with databases, such as creating requests of varying complexity and having access to databases
- Experience working with Git/SVN
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux
- Experience with REST API, and knowledge of XML/JSON
- Intermediate (or higher) level of English
- Good teamwork and communication skills, a proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Knowledge and understanding of payment system operation principles, and experience with payment systems
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g., TeamCity/Jenkins/Bamboo)
- Experience working on projects with high load and/or with load test tools (e.g., JMeter)
