QA Test Lead

Demiurge Studios is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead to lead our testers and work with our amazing teams to bring the highest quality, world class games to our players! You will be an integral part of the project team leadership and work closely with our QA Director to help mentor and grow our testers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, design and execute complete functional test plans and test cases
• Direct test execution and tester activities on assigned projects on a daily basis
• Track/maintain testing schedules for assigned projects
• Collaborate and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders including Production, studio leadership and other functional project leads
• Proactively maintain testing priorities, and communicate priorities to the team
• Oversight and execution of external client onboarding and test plans
• Create, update, and provide test status, and confirmation reports at regular intervals for assigned projects
• Ensure that our games meet our internal/external quality goals

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years QA experience or 4+ shipped titles with QA credits
• Prior experience in a Senior or Lead role
• Experience working in teams under a variety of agile and fixed-time development processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with defect reporting/triage and root cause analysis
• Experience coordinating & directing the work of external/outsourced test teams
• Professional demeanor with a team-focused attitude
• Excellent command of test plan authoring and implementation
• Experience with test case & test artifact management, tracking & reporting
• Excellent ability to lead and mentor a team in a positive manner
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Excel and Google docs

PREFERENCE TO APPLICANTS WITH

• Experience working on entertainment software on a range of platforms
• Knowledge of TCRs & TRCs
• Experience with Localization testing
• Experience working on a AAA title
• Preference for Unreal Engine experience
• Experience with UX/UI testing
• Experience in live operations for a free-to-play title
• Experience with automated testing, scripting, tools and accelerators
• Experience performing Compatibility, Security and Performance testing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
