QA Technician, Prime Gaming

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to be a customer advocate and help maintain and improve the existing high quality customer experience for our product.

Prime Gaming is a leader in the games subscription business with benefits available to all Amazon Prime members geared at making Prime a no-brainer for game players. Games have the power to connect communities at a massive scale, and in this role, you’ll dive deep into the gaming community and help create new experiences and opportunities for connection.

You will be able to consistently maintain high attention to detail, clearly communicate defect information, debug problems, work with existing scripting tools or user-level automation tools, enjoy working with data, developers, and gamers, and have test case design and test execution skills. You will work closely with your QA leaders as well as stakeholders in production, account management, design, engineering, and multiple 3rd party game developers to ensure consistent launches on time with a high quality bar.

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of QA experience and knowledge of QA tools and methodologies
· Ability to operate within short live service release cycles
· PC, Console, and/or Mobile game testing experience
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field, or 1+ years of equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Game industry experience (1+ years) working on cross-platform games or on live services teams
· Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
· Ability to understand functional and technical specifications and analyze data and output logs
· Scripting language skills
