QA Specialist (Project 8)

Your responsibilities:
- reporting and managing defects and working with the team to resolve them
- ability to use a bug tracker (Jira, Mantis, etc.) to optimize work
- creating test cases, checklists, and reports
- creating and managing QA documentation (e.g. for tools, and tested features)
- providing feedback to the team regarding certain areas of the game, processes, and tools
- providing feedback regarding UX
- providing test status and progress
- providing test coverage for user stories, tasks, and verbal requests with an analytical approach
- owning small areas of the game (like a single feature)
- planning tests for a sprint and estimating required time
- participating in QA tasks
- executing non-functional testing (usability, performance, etc.)
- testing and ensuring proper use of testing tools
- using Unreal Editor for testing activities
Requirements:
Nice to have:
- basic Unreal Engine experience
- experience with version control software (like Perforce Helix Core)
- familiarity with game development language
- familiarity with Agile development and methodologies
- knowledge of Jira basic workflow and management
