Job Description

Mission:

The QA (RBS/TSS) Manager is primarily responsible for the consolidation of the RBS/TSS teams across all the projects of the Studio. In this mission, this person collaborates with the RBS/TSS representatives of each team to guarantee the implementation of the Studio RBS/TSS strategy and best practices developed by the different productions. In the meantime, the QA Manager is also part of a Production team and will dedicate part of her/his time to ensure the project is shipped on time with maximum quality and minimal bugs.

What you will do:

Define and implement the vision of the RBS/TSS across the Studio

- Define an ambitious RBS/TSS Strategy in the Studio, to ensure our RBS/TSS teams remain on top of their game.

- Define the roadmap to implement this Strategy across the Studio

- Define and use metrics to measure the progress of the Strategy pillars and continuously adjust your priorities.

Grow a team of experts to implement the RBS/TSS strategy and best practices on each project

- Mentor your reports to ensure their growth as individuals and fulfillment of their potential as well as acting clearly to identify areas where support is needed

- Work with Production, HR and Project Leads to ensure relevant recruitment needs are clear and fulfilled at all time.

Become the safekeeper of the consistent Excellent Quality of Service across projects

- Champion best practices to optimize Production pipeline efficiency and minimize risk throughout their project development journey

- Setup and maintain standard support workflow covering all projects across the Studio

- Work with Production, HR and Project Leads to ensure relevant distribution of expertise and workload across projects

- Maintain regular communication with Productions to continuously monitor their satisfaction on RBS/TSS service provided

Facilitate knowledge transfer across projects and studios

- Facilitate knowledge sharing between RBS/TSS teams, through regular exchange opportunities and centralized documentation

- Collaborate with the other SHA Production Service Managers to bring consolidated solutions to the challenges met by the Production teams

- Work with Production, HR and Project Leads to define the training roadmap for the teams.

- Build and foster links other studios and partners to ensure necessary relationships and support are in place

Ensure the success of your project

- Setup and maintain the Continuous Integration/Deployment pipeline for game/tool version

- Manage production assets and code (i.e. Perforce and Network Attached Storage)

- Support any problem in working environment (i.e. access, network, tool, service, configuration) for production team

Qualifications

What you should be equipped with:

- Solid work experience of DEVOPS with source control (Perforce / Git / SVN), CI/CD tool (Quickbuild/ TeamCity/ Jenkins) and scripting language (Groovy/ Python/ batch / shell)

- Continuous improvement mindset, with rock solid analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong leadership and organizational skills with an ability to inspire others

- Proven experience hiring, training and mentoring other senior team members to build a strong team around them

- Proficient communication in both English and Chinese
