QA & Player Success Lead

Core Goals

Oversee QA (Both QA Crew and External Teams)

Aggregate feedback from players, community, team, etc.

Triage and prioritize feedback and issues and collaborate with producers on incorporating it into our experiences

Responsibilities

Consult with QA teams, internal and external teams, and partners to aggregate and triage feedback and bug reports

Work with Game Design to optimize monetization, player retention, and engagement systems so they feel great for players and integrate organically into our experiences

Advise on and propose strategies and campaigns based on trends from similar titles (Game mechanics, community engagement campaigns, etc.)

Closely monitor projects throughout the lifecycle to ensure as many touchpoints for feedback on prototypes, dev builds, design concepts, etc. are taken advantage of

Work with Biz Dev to ensure pitches and proposed concepts align well with previous experience feedback and trends

Manage, mentor, and develop MELON's internal QA team

Develop strategies and proposals for specific testing tools to build out or include into our workflow

Collaborate with department heads on building and managing efficient feedback and quality control workflows

Required

Requirements

At least two years of management/leadership experience

At least two years of experience in a QA-related role (Tester, Manager, etc.)

At least a year of experience working on free-to-play games and their systems

Ability to conduct extensive market research and write reports documenting findings

Excellent written and vocal communication skills in English

Great organization and time management skills
